What we believe

When he announced the birth of Jesus, the angel said, “I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people.” (
Luke 2:10)

The birth of Jesus is not a fairy story. It is news about something that happened on a real day in a real town in the Middle East, 2000 years ago. But unlike so much of the news on TV it is “good news of great joy.”

Although rooted in historical events, the news about Jesus is relevant today because it is “for all people.” Whoever you are, whatever you have done, whatever has happened to you, Jesus is good news for you.

We are a community of people who want to get to grips with what the Bible says about what the good news of Jesus means for the 21st century.

We aim to explore the relevance of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection in a way that is accessible to all. Our hope is that anyone unfamiliar with the Christian faith will feel welcome in our meetings and free to add their voice to discussions by asking their questions and making their comments.

Two ways to live is a simple explanation of the Christian faith. It will only take you a couple of minutes to read it.
